The typical Model-A frame has cantilever sockets in the front and in the rear. The brake cable guides are made for V-brakes, cantilever brakes or Magura hydraulic rim brakes. The right rear dropout has a thread to accommodate a rear derailleur. There are two stoppers close to the shekel and one at the right rear stay. The shifting cables are directed araund the bottom bracket. There are two 5mm threadings to fix a side-generator. The front fork has also two 5 mm threadings to mount a lowrider carrier. Since we get the Model-A frames unpain- ted we can always braze or de-braze canti sockets or make cable guides from stoppers. In other words, you tell us which gears or which brakes you would like to use, and we change the frame accordingly - with no cost to you ! You can also choose between 195 RAL-colours. A Pedersen frame brazed according to your demands with your favorite colour costs Euro ?? When we have to to do some brazing, please expect a delivery time of one month. Only powder-coating takes two to three weeks. There are six different frame sizes: RM (26“), M, L, RL, XL and XXL. The last five frame sizes are all concipated to take 28“ ( 622 mm or 700c) wheels (tyres from 37 mm up to 50 mm ). Our frames are NOT made for double- or triple chainwheels
When you think that you need 27 gears, we advise to use the SRAM Dualdrive „3 x9“ system, which needs only one chainwheel. The 25CroMo4 tubing comes from Columbus or Orea from Italy . The frames are mainly brazed, but a few points are also welded. The following components are included in the frame kit: frame, front fork, head set tube, shekel, strap, saddle, plate to accommodate the four saddle springs, nickel-plated sear post, pin for fixing the springs to the seat post, two srews for saddle-height adjustment, saddle rods, the frame-fork connection, tensioning rods and the head badge including a fixing pin. Head set, axle and handlebars are not included and have to ordered seperately. Broken saddle springs will be replaced free of charge. The head set must have the dimension of 1“. The threading in the bottom bracket set are called BSA-threading or English threading (BSA stands for "Birmingham Small Arms"). The saddles are available in two colours - black or honey. Leather handle bar grips are available in matching colours.
